nubia NaviX Ultra released with advanced agentic AI, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

nubia has officially launched the NaviX Ultra in China, bringing the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a 7,100 mAh battery, a 144Hz LTPO OLED display, and system-level agentic AI features to its latest flagship smartphone. The phone integrates the consumer version of Doubao Mobile Assistant, which can understand instructions and carry out tasks across supported apps.

The NaviX Ultra centers its AI experience around a dedicated AI button with built-in fingerprint recognition. Users can press the button to access the assistant, issue voice commands, and interact with the AI through text, images, audio, and video. The assistant can also handle multi-step tasks across apps, maintain task context, and accept new instructions while a task remains in progress.

nubia also added the Seed full-duplex voice model for more natural voice conversations. The system can handle interruptions during calls and continue the conversation without forcing users into a strict question-and-answer flow. Other AI functions include call management, recording summaries, screenshot recognition, product identification, and AI-assisted image editing.

On the hardware side, the NaviX Ultra runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. The phone also uses a 7,100mm² three-dimensional vapor chamber to manage heat during demanding workloads. Storage options include 512GB and 1TB, with up to 16GB of RAM.

The phone gets a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display with a 1Hz to 144Hz adaptive refresh rate, 1260 × 2800 resolution, and up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness. nubia also uses 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and full-brightness DC dimming. The display has four narrow bezels that measure 1.09mm.

For photography, the NaviX Ultra carries a 200MP main camera with optical image stabilization, a 50MP ultra-wide camera with autofocus, and a 64MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. A 32MP front camera handles selfies and video calls. The camera system also gets AI features for assisted shooting, image editing, and video generation.

Power comes from a 7,100mAh fifth-generation Nanhai battery with 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The battery uses a silicon-based design with an energy density of 902Wh/L, while the phone measures around 7.6mm thick.

Connectivity includes 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and USB Type-C. The phone also supports dual SIM connectivity and enhanced communication features designed to maintain connections in weak-signal environments. The nubia NaviX Ultra runs Android 16 with Nebula AIOS 2. It comes in Dream, Blue, Black, and White color options.

The nubia NaviX Ultra starts at CNY 5,999 (around Php 52,500) for the 12GB + 512GB model. The 16GB + 512GB version costs CNY 6,499 (around Php 56,900), while the 16GB + 1TB model sells for CNY 7,499 (around Php 65,600).
