Marian Rivera joins vivo V70 launch with POP MART Zsiga collaboration

QUEZON CITY — Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera headlined the official launch of the vivo V70 at The Block in SM North EDSA, where vivo announced its collaboration with POP MART for the Zsiga “Under The Sun” series.

Cheers and camera flashes filled the venue as vivo presented the vivo V70 alongside POP MART’s Zsiga “Under The Sun” collection. Rivera graced the stage with host Dani Mortel and spoke about the partnership:

Super happy ako na andito ako ngayon at na-witness ang launch ng bagong vivo V70! Lalo na’t may collab pa sila with POP MART.” Rivera said she collects POP MART pieces and that the partnership resonated with her personal interests. She also talked about her love for photography and how vivo smartphones serve as her go-to device for capturing everyday moments.

Zhang explained the color played a key role in aligning the Zsiga “Under The Sun” Series with the vivo V70 Golden Hour colorway. He described it as a natural creative match, not a forced collaboration.

I believe color is not just simply an expression; it also has its energy. Golden Hour is a beautiful kind of a ray of sunlight for this particular color.”

Zhang added that Zsiga was chosen for its bold and honest personality, which mirrors the self-expression encouraged by the vivo V70.

Zsiga is a little girl who is always out there to explore and never shy to express her feelings. These kinds of expressions show the authenticity and also the quirkiness of the IP.”

Advanced imaging and performance features

Professional photographer Jan Mayo demonstrated the vivo V70’s camera features during the event. He highlighted the AI Stage Mode powered by the 50MP ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera and showed how users can capture clear portraits from a distance, which is ideal for concerts and live events.

Mayo also presented the device’s 4K 60fps video recording and AI Audio Noise Eraser for clearer visuals and sound.

Mortel, meanwhile, introduced other hardware features, such as the 6500mAh BlueVolt battery, 90W FlashCharge, aerospace-grade aluminum alloy frame, and OriginOS 6.

Pricing and pre-order details

vivo announced the official pricing of the vivo V70:

  • 8GB + 256GB – Php 31,999
  • 12GB + 256GB – Php 35,999
  • 12GB + 512GB – Php 39,999

Pre-orders run until March 13. Buyers will receive a Php 2,000 discount, along with limited edition freebies, including a vivo VIP Card and vivo Buds Air3.
