Huawei has introduced the MatePad Pro 2026 in China with a 12.2-inch OLED display, HarmonyOS 5, and a 14,100mAh battery. The flagship tablet also features Huawei's new Kirin T92A chipset, up to 16GB of RAM, up to 1TB of storage, and support for the latest Huawei M-Pencil and Star Leap Keyboard accessories.
The Huawei MatePad Pro 2026 features a 12.2-inch flexible OLED display with a 2.8K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits. Huawei also offers a PaperMatte edition that reduces glare and delivers a paper-like writing experience for note-taking and drawing.
Huawei equips the tablet with its Kirin T92A processor and pairs it with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. The device runs HarmonyOS 5 and includes several multitasking features that support desktop-style workflows. Huawei also adds support for the latest M-Pencil stylus and Star Leap Keyboard, so users can hit the ground running with productivity tasks.
The camera system includes a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and an 8-megapixel front camera for video calls. Huawei also includes four speakers, four microphones, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, USB-C, GPS, and NearLink connectivity. Those features cover entertainment, communication, and everyday work in one package.
Huawei packs a 14,100 mAh battery inside the MatePad Pro 2026 and supports 100W wired SuperCharge. The company says the large battery targets users who spend long hours on productivity, media consumption, and creative work. Fast charging also helps users get back in the saddle after a short charging session.
The MatePad Pro 2026 comes in several memory configurations, including 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB. Huawei has announced the tablet for the Chinese market, while details for international availability remain under wraps. Time will tell if Huawei plans a wider rollout in other regions.

Huawei has priced the MatePad Pro 2026 at CNY 5,999 (around PHP 50,700) for the 12GB + 256GB model. The 12GB + 256GB PaperMatte Edition costs CNY 7,199 (around PHP 60,800), while the 12GB + 512GB model with the Star Leap Keyboard retails for CNY 8,399 (around PHP 70,900). The 12GB + 512GB PaperMatte Edition with the Star Leap Keyboard carries a price of CNY 9,199 (around PHP 77,700). Huawei has not announced pricing or availability for international markets, including the Philippines.
