POCO Philippines shared a teaser for the event on social media. The post states, "Not just breaking limits — we're building the next generation. Let #POCOX8ProSeries show what a next-gen performance flagship can really do.". The company has not yet announced the official local specifications.
Previous reports suggest a possible rebranding strategy for the POCO X8 series. The new smartphones might mirror the hardware of the REDMI Turbo 5 and the REDMI Turbo 5 Max.
The REDMI Turbo 5 Max uses a MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset. This model also features an AMOLED display and a 9000 mAh battery.
The standard REDMI Turbo 5 runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 processor. This chip utilizes a 4nm process. The smartphone also includes an AMOLED panel and a 7560 mAh battery.
