POCO X8 Pro Series arrives in PH with Iron Man Edition, up to Dimensity 9500s chip, 8500 mAh battery

POCO officially released the POCO X8 Pro Max, POCO X8 Pro, and an exclusive Iron Man Edition in the Philippines today to transition its X Series into the X Pro Series. These devices feature the global debut of the Dimensity 9500s and Dimensity 8500-Ultra chipsets to provide flagship performance for young technology enthusiasts. The lineup includes the largest battery in the brand's history and supports specialized AI tools for gaming and creativity.

Performance stands at the core of the new series, with the POCO X8 Pro Max utilizing the Dimensity 9500s flagship chipset. This processor uses a 3nm process and an all-big-core CPU design to reach clock speeds of 3.73GHz. The standard POCO X8 Pro debuts the Dimensity 8500-Ultra platform, which delivers a 25% boost in GPU power compared to previous models. Both smartphones support hardware-level ray tracing to provide more realistic lighting and reflections during mobile gameplay.

The POCO X8 Pro Max houses an 8,500 mAh battery that provides up to two days of use on a single charge. This high-capacity battery maintains over 80% of its health after 1,600 charge cycles to ensure long-term reliability. The POCO X8 Pro uses a 6,500 mAh silicon-carbon battery to offer durable endurance in a more compact frame. Both models include 100W HyperCharge technology and 27W reverse charging to power other accessories.

The series utilizes flagship M10 panels with a peak brightness of 3,500 nits for high outdoor visibility. The X8 Pro Max features a 6.83-inch screen and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, while the X8 Pro includes a 6.59-inch display with slim bezels. These displays support 3840Hz PWM dimming and carry triple TÜV Rheinland certifications to reduce eye strain. Symmetrical dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support complement the visuals for a more immersive audio experience.

The POCO X8 Pro – Iron Man Edition features a black-and-gold aesthetic inspired by Stark Industries armor. A customized themed user interface extends the Marvel aesthetic to every software interaction on the device. The rear camera module integrates a Dynamic RGB light that functions as an Arc Reactor and responds to notifications or music playback. This limited edition comes with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

In the Philippines, the POCO X8 series arrives with an Early Bird Sale from March 17 to March 26, 2026. The POCO X8 Pro starts at Php 18,999 for the 8+256GB model, but you pay Php 15,499 during this sale. The 8+512GB version retails for Php 19,999 with a promo price of Php 16,599. The 12+512GB variant sells for Php 21,999, or you can grab it for Php 17,499 on sale. 

Marvel fans can pick up the POCO X8 Pro – Iron Man Edition for Php 18,999. The POCO X8 Pro Max 12+256GB edition has a SRP of Php 25,999 and a promo price of Php 18,999. Finally, the 12+512GB model costs Php 27,999, but this price drops to Php 20,749 for early buyers.
