Anker has launched the soundcore AeroClip 2 in the Philippines, an open-ear clip-on earbud designed for music playback, calls, and everyday use. The soundcore AeroClip 2 uses an open-ear design that clips onto the outer ear instead of sitting inside the ear canal. This allows users to listen to music and take calls while remaining aware of sounds around them, making the earbuds suitable for commutes, workouts, and outdoor activities.

Each earbud weighs 6.2 grams. Anker developed the design using a database of more than 2,000 ear profiles and tested it on over 1,000 users. The earbuds also underwent more than 10,000 flex tests to assess the durability of their construction.

For audio playback, the AeroClip 2 features 12mm dual-magnetic drivers, LDAC support for Android devices, and Hi-Res Audio certification. Users can also customize their listening experience through Anker's HearID 5.0 feature.

The earbuds use Anker's THUS AI Chip and 6-Sensor Call Technology to isolate the user's voice during calls. According to Anker, the technology earned the device a Guinness World Records certification as the “World's Clearest Open-Ear Clip-On Earbuds for Calls.”

The AeroClip 2 also includes a Nap Mode with built-in white noise options. Users can activate the mode with three clicks on either earbud and download offline sounds through the Anker app, including rain and campfire crackling.

For durability, the earbuds carry an IP57 rating for protection against dust and water exposure. Battery life reaches up to eight hours on a single charge, with the charging case extending total playback time to 32 hours. A 10-minute charge provides up to four hours of use, according to Anker.

The soundcore AeroClip 2 also carries Apple's MFi certification, which Anker identifies as a first for open-ear clip-on earbuds. This certification supports compatibility with Apple devices.
