Epson released its FY2024 Southeast Asia Sustainability Report, outlining advancements in circular economy initiatives, emissions transparency, and community impact programs aligned with its Environmental Vision 2050.
Epson Southeast Asia recorded measurable improvements in FY24, including an 11 percent reduction in electricity use and a cut in Scope 2 emissions to 814 tons CO₂e. The company also expanded drop-shipping operations, avoiding 113 tons of CO₂e, while regional markets recycled over 1,600 kilograms of ink consumables and converted more than 500 kilograms of food waste into fertilizer.
The report detailed progress across four materialities: Achieve Sustainability in a Circular Economy, Advance the Frontiers of Industry, Improve Quality of Life, and Fulfill Social Responsibility. One SEA office achieved BCA Green Mark Gold certification, adding to five others already certified, highlighting efforts to improve building efficiency.
Epson SEA strengthened governance with full employee participation in compliance training and maintained zero workplace incidents during the period. The company also continued its focus on education through the “Epson Goes to School” program and robotics initiatives, while supporting clean-up drives across six markets that recovered over 1,400 kilograms of waste. In Indonesia, Epson partnered with WWF’s Trees for Life project, planting 200,000 trees across 300 hectares.
