TECNO officially launched the POVA 7 Series in the Philippines, introducing three new smartphones featuring upgraded hardware, advanced AI integration, and redesigned aesthetics. The announcement marks the brand’s biggest product refresh in the country to date.
The company confirmed the POVA 7 Series as the official smartphone partner of the PUBG MOBILE Challenges League Southeast Asia (PMCL SEA) and PUBG MOBILE Super League Southeast Asia (PMSL SEA). The partnership strengthens the series' positioning in the mobile gaming scene across the region.
The lineup includes the POVA 7, POVA 7 Ultra 5G, and POVA Curve 5G. The POVA 7 debuts with a 7000mAh battery, 45W Flash Charge, and MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate processor. It comes in two configurations: 16GB+128GB and 16GB+256GB, both with 8GB extended RAM.
The POVA 7 Ultra 5G features a 6000mAh battery, 70W Ultra Charge, and 30W Wireless Fast Charge. It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate AI processor. Meanwhile, the POVA Curve 5G introduces the first curved screen in the POVA Series, aiming to combine edge-to-edge display with bold styling.
The series launches with HiOS 15 Special Edition which offers system-wide customization, user-defined elements, and a clean interface. The updated software includes neumorphism-inspired visuals and a unique typeface exclusive to POVA.
The POVA 7 delivers 36.76 hours of daily usage and charges to 50% in 30 minutes. Its battery supports over 1,800 cycles for extended lifespan. Additional features include HyperEngine Game Engine, Hyper Cooling System, multi-touch controls, and Dolby Atmos dual speakers.
The FreeLink feature enables peer-to-peer calling and messaging up to 1km without cellular signal, while AI integration powers the entire series through tools like Ask Ella, AI Call Assistant, Circle to Search, and AI Studio.
TECNO POVA 7 (16GB RAM) will be available in the Philippines starting June 26, 2025. The 128GB variant is priced at PHP 6,999, while the 256GB version is PHP 7,999. Online launch offers include discounted rates on Shopee and TikTok for the first day of sale. POVA 7 Ultra 5G and POVA Curve 5G are set to launch in the Philippines in Q3 2025.
