TECNO introduces the CAMON Slim 5G in the Philippines with a 6.39mm body, 6,000mAh battery, 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C main camera, practical AI features, and five artistic colorways. This highlights the CAMON series’ imaging features to a slimmer form factor while keeping a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED 144Hz display and 5G connectivity.
6.39-mm body with five artistic colorways
The CAMON Slim 5G uses the swan-neck curve design from the CAMON 50 series. TECNO says the design draws inspiration from ballet dancers and automotive exterior lines. At 6.39 mm, the phone keeps a 6,000 mAh battery inside its slim body.
TECNO offers the phone in Burgundy Red, Neo Mondrian, Matisse Black, Van Gogh Blue, and Rebel Pink. Burgundy Red combines fiberglass with a matte texture, while Neo Mondrian uses photochromic technology that reveals a Piet Mondrian-style grid under ultraviolet light.
Matisse Black pairs a black fiberglass body with fluorescent green accents inspired by Henri Matisse’s cut-outs. Van Gogh Blue uses a patterned gradient coating that recreates the swirling look of The Starry Night. Rebel Pink combines pink accents with a black body.
50MP Sony LYTIA camera with Super-Zoom FlashSnap
The CAMON Slim 5G carries a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C Ultra-Night main camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor. A closed-loop ball motor handles autofocus, while OIS, AI EIS, and AI Shutter form the phone’s stabilization system for low-light and action shots.
Its Super-Zoom FlashSnap feature uses AI to capture moments without requiring a shutter press. TECNO says it can shoot at up to 2x telephoto with shutter speeds as fast as 1/11236 second, with examples that include concerts, sports, gatherings, and pets in motion.
The Multi-Focal-Length Portrait mode offers 24mm, 35mm, and 50mm focal lengths. TECNO also uses its Universal Tone technology for skin-tone imaging, which draws from its multi-skin-tone color card and skin-tone database.
TECNO also launched the Mag Badge alongside the phone. The magnetic accessory has its own battery and a 1.73-inch AMOLED display. It connects through Bluetooth and can work as a photo gallery badge, remote shutter from up to 10 meters, and selfie assistant for previews and camera switching.
AI features cover photos, school, work, and food
The CAMON Slim 5G includes AI features for productivity, lifestyle, and other everyday tasks. AI Snap Poster can remove a product’s background and place it into preset scenes such as a home interior or beach setting. AI Pet Together can combine separate photos of a user and their pets into one portrait.
AI LightMaster 2.0 can remove shadows, flares, and reflections from photos. TECNO places these functions on the phone’s zero screen for quick access.
For students and professionals, AI Recording Notes can transcribe lectures into structured notes and link whiteboard photos to the relevant points in the recording. AI Class Schedule can import a class schedule from a screenshot, color-code courses, and show them in a dedicated widget.
AI Healthy Eating can analyze food photos, estimate calories and nutrients, and provide meal recommendations.
IP69K protection, 144Hz AMOLED display
The phone carries IP69K, IP69, IP68, and IP66 protection ratings. TECNO says the device supports underwater photography and passed MIL-STD-810 certification for shock and drop resistance.
The display measures 6.78 inches and uses a 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. It also carries TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification. Wet & Oily Hand Touch Recognition 2.0 keeps touch input responsive with wet or oily fingers, while Rain Touch supports use under heavy rain. Waterproof Case Touch also lets users operate the phone through a waterproof case.
Dimensity 7300e 5G and long-term software support
TECNO CAMON Slim 5G runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e 5G, an 8-core chipset that TECNO says balances performance, battery life, and everyday operation. The phone gets five years of security updates and three major OS upgrades. TÜV SÜD also certified the device for 60 months of sustained fluidity.
#MakeItLighter campaign
TECNO launched the CAMON Slim 5G under its #MakeItLighter campaign, which focuses on women who manage different roles across their careers, families, passions, and personal lives. The campaign features stories from women and mothers across creative, entrepreneurial, and corporate careers.
The TECNO CAMON Slim 5G will be available through authorized TECNO retailers nationwide and the brand’s official e-commerce stores.
