Orange Magazine PH celebrates its 15th anniversary this July, highlighting its transformation from a personal project into one of the country’s most recognized digital lifestyle platforms. Launched in 2010 by Jessie Bunyi Villanueva, also known as Jeman, the magazine was built on a simple vision: to create a space where he could publish stories that mattered to him, without restrictions. Over the years, that vision evolved into a collaborative hub for content creators, influencers, and brands, covering everything from entertainment to lifestyle and culture.

The name “Orange” was a deliberate choice. Jeman described orange as the “color of dawn” which symbolizes freshness, new beginnings, and truth. Guided by this philosophy, Orange Magazine steered away from explicit content to cater to a broader, more inclusive audience. “I’ve always wanted to have my own magazine where I can accommodate every kind of information that pleases me without others telling me what and what not to publish,” he said. The move to digital was strategic; Jeman saw the growing reach of the internet and the power of social media to promote and sustain a content platform accessible to everyone.

The magazine’s early traction was driven by bold features on high-profile personalities. Over the years, it has interviewed and featured international acts like Jay Park, Westlife, and Bruno Mars, as well as local stars such as Anne Curtis-Smith, Christian Bautista, and Gloc-9. Today, Orange Magazine PH boasts over 7.3 million reach on Facebook, 3.8 million on TikTok, 1.8 million on Instagram, and more than 41.2 million views on YouTube - figures that underscore its sustained relevance and reach.
The team behind Orange Magazine has grown as well. Content creators like Kister Morata and Sharmaine Rodriguez have played key roles in shaping the platform’s voice and community. “Thanks to Orange Magazine, I’ve worked with my dream brands and traveled overseas,” Kister shared. Sharmaine added, “It’s a place where you can truly shape stories.” Together with Jeman, the team continues to push for innovation, exploring new social formats and collaborative opportunities to stay ahead in an ever-evolving media landscape.
To mark its 15th year, Orange Magazine held a celebration on July 1, 2025, at Timezone, Ayala Malls Feliz. The event brought together bloggers, vloggers, and content creators, reaffirming the strong sense of community the platform has fostered. Guests enjoyed interactive games, prizes, and opportunities to network and collaborate.
The anniversary celebration was made possible through the support of a wide network of sponsors and partners from across industries - more than 100 brands and organizations that have been part of the platform’s journey. With a renewed commitment to storytelling, relevance, and collaboration, Orange Magazine PH enters its next chapter - still fresh, still true, and more connected than ever.
