vivo has launched the V80 Lite 5G in Malaysia with a 10,000mAh battery, MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chipset, and a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The new V-Series smartphone starts at MYR 1,399 for the 6GB/128GB variant. This is also the variant that is pegged to be released in the Philippines.
The 10,000 mAh battery stands out as the phone’s biggest feature. vivo claims up to 30 hours of continuous video playback and up to 14 hours of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang gameplay on a single charge. The battery supports 44W FlashCharge through USB Type-C.
Under the hood, the vivo V80 Lite 5G runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e, paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone also supports 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and dual-SIM 5G standby.
For photography, the phone carries a 50MP main camera with a 2MP depth sensor and a 32MP front camera. The display uses a 1.5K AMOLED panel with up to 2,000 nits of HBM brightness. That puts the V80 Lite 5G in a sweet spot for users who want a large display without giving up battery capacity.
vivo also gives the V80 Lite 5G IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, along with MIL-STD-810H shock resistance and 3-meter drop resistance. The phone runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6 out of the box.
The vivo V80 Lite 5G comes in Pink, Green, and Black. Malaysia pricing starts at MYR 1,399 for the 6GB/128GB model, while the 8GB/256GB variant carries higher storage and memory. vivo has yet to announce Philippine availability for the phone.
