Robinsons Manila hosted the official launch of the vivo V50 Lite on April 12, 2025, marking the debut of the brand’s latest smartphone under the theme “Light, Reimagined: the V50 Lite Launch.” vivo brand ambassador Maine Mendoza headlined the event, which highlighted the V50 Lite’s combination of performance features and stylish design.

The launch event opened with a performance by the NU Dance Company, setting an energetic tone for the program. Host and former beauty queen Nicole Cordovez then introduced the vivo V50 Lite, highlighting its key features. The smartphone carries a 6500mAh BlueVolt battery that supports 90W FlashCharge, enabling users to charge the device to 50 percent in 20 minutes and reach full charge in under an hour. Cordovez also noted the V50 Lite’s reverse charging capability, which allows it to act as a power bank for other devices.

The V50 Lite also received attention for its IP65 and IP69 certifications, which ensure protection against dust and water. Designed for durability, the device withstands daily usage scenarios that include accidental spills, rain, and other environmental challenges, supporting users with active and mobile lifestyles.
As part of the launch activities, Mendoza took a group selfie with fans, followed by another performance from the NU Dance Company. The program concluded with a raffle, where two guests won new vivo V50 Lite units. Event highlights and the full livestream are available on vivo’s official Facebook page.
