After the highly successful run of the Mi Mix smartphone last year, the company has released the second iteration of the popular handset - the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. The handset features a wide 5.99-inch display with nearly bezel-less frame and ceramic body construction. It's also one of the few smartphones to tick with Snapdragon 835 and up to 8GB of RAM.

Xiaomi also pointed out that the Mi Mix 2 is smaller and thinner than the original Mi Mix by 12-percent. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 also goes with the trend of 18:9 screen aspect ratio - that's slightly longer that last year's 17:9.
The handset also enjoys the four-sided ceramic body that is accented with subtle curves. It comes with a distinct premium look which also highlights the thin bezel and FHD display resolution.

There are two variants to choose from - a 64GB version with 6GB RAM and a 128GB variant with 8GB RAM. The latter is believed to be the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 Special Edition.
The 12MP rear camera comes with a Sony IMX386 sensor, 1.25um pixel size and f/2.0 aperture. There's a dual tone LED flash, 4-axis OIS and supports 4K video recording for your better photo and video capturing needs. The handset comes with a 5MP camera with facial recognition support.
