Samsung Galaxy Y Duos to be released in February, priced at Php 8990

Samsung will release the dual-sim version of the very popular Galaxy Y. It will feature a bump in screen size and the shooter. The Samsung Galaxy Y Duos will be available in the market starting February and will be priced at Php 8990. We can also recall that its qwerty version, Samsung Galaxy Y Pro, has been announced to have the sameupgrade.
The latter version will still be infused with Android 2.3 and will also be clocked with 832 MHz. However, it will have a 3.14-inch QVGA TFT display sporting a 240 x 320 resolution. Another thing to look forward to is the 3MP shooter from the 2MP older version. Likewise the dual-sim functionality will solve all of your SIM-swapping problems.
Speaking of hardware terms, the back panel of the Galaxy Y Duos has a glossy back sparkle that diverts from the silver back of the previous version. The price difference is Php 3000 that caters a small bump in the screen (from 3 to 3.14 inches) and an upgrade from the 2 MP to 3 MP camera aside from the dual-sim functionality. Samsung Philippines said that it’ll be available in the second week of February. Check out the specs below.
