HP TouchPad clinches the second spot for Best Selling tablets, updates on the way

Figures are in and TouchPad is the only non-Apple tablet to rake in over 500,000 units due to the recent frenzied sale. It has been noted that the TouchPad’s price was dropped to $99 due to the announcement of HP to cut its production.
The tablet has been selling like hotcakes everywhere and demands for the pads are very considerable. This promted HP to continue a limited production of TouchPad’s and have an over-the-air updates.
"We expect that HP TouchPad owners can look forward to an over-the-air update that will enhance the platform and add functionality and a growing applications catalog," says HP representative over CNET. Details on the update had not been explained yet. Furthermore an HP executive had also cited that they would “potentially resurrect” the TouchPads.
The representative also added that HP remains fully committed to the ongoing support and service of customers who purchased webOS devices.
Does this mean that we will have a not-so-expensive TouchPad 2?
