MANILA - POCO has officially launched the new POCO Pad C1 in the Philippines, giving budget-conscious users another affordable tablet option for school, entertainment, and daily tasks. With a large 2K display, Snapdragon chipset, and long battery life, the new device positions itself as a practical tablet for students and casual users who need a bigger screen without a premium price tag.
The POCO Pad C1 features a 9.7-inch 2K display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, which helps deliver smoother visuals for video playback, note review, and casual games. The panel also reaches up to 600 nits brightness, useful for outdoor or classroom use. Triple TÜV Rheinland certifications also help reduce eye fatigue during long hours of screen time.
Inside, the tablet runs on the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 platform paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. For students who keep large files, videos, or school documents, the tablet also supports expandable storage up to 2TB via microSD.
Battery life is another highlight. The POCO Pad C1 packs a 7,600mAh battery that can last up to 1.7 days on a single charge based on POCO’s claims. It also supports 18W fast charging plus 10W reverse charging, which allows the tablet to charge small accessories when needed.
The tablet ships with Xiaomi HyperOS 3 and includes Google Gemini plus Circle to Search support for faster access to information and smarter search tools.
The POCO Pad C1 will be available in the Philippines starting June 1, 2026, with early bird offers valid until June 15. During the promo period, the 4GB + 64GB variant will retail for Php 8,499 from its regular Php 8,999 price, while the Shopee-exclusive 6GB + 128GB model will be available for Php 9,999 from Php 10,999.
