will.i.am showcases LG xboom AI speaker lineup in Manila

Global music icon and tech innovator will.i.am arrived in Manila for the official launch of LG xboom AI, a new speaker lineup he designed as LG’s Experiential Architect.

The press conference introduced LG xboom AI, a collaboration that blends music, technology, and design. The lineup features the Stage 301, Bounce, Grab, and Buds, each offering AI-powered sound and durability for different lifestyles.

William Adams, professionally known as will.i.am, described the collaboration as a natural extension of his career at the intersection of sound, style, and technology. A nine-time Grammy Award winner, he also founded RAiDiO, an AI-driven platform, further cementing his role as a creative force in music and tech.

LG Philippines Product Director for Media Solutions, Mr. Yongwoo Park, underscored the value of merging artistry and technology in the collaboration. “We are honored to welcome a global icon, an individual who has made an extraordinary impact not only in music but also in advocacy, championing access to creative and technological education for underserved students in Los Angeles,” he said.

The LG xboom AI line showcases features such as waterproof and sand-resistant builds for outdoor use, karaoke-ready mic controls for the Stage 301, and advanced noise cancellation in the xboom Buds. Each unit was designed with consistency in EQ, balance, and sound harmony, according to will.i.am.

Filipino personalities Denise Laurel and Eric “Eruption” Tai joined the launch, highlighting the relevance of high-quality audio to Filipino cultural celebrations. During the event, will.i.am emphasized music’s role as a connector across cultures and generations, noting, “Music is like the connecting tissue for everyone.”
