Aside from this, the phone also has a triple 50MP camera setup, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset and 6500 nits peak brightness. The spec sheet alone makes it sound like a phone designed to dominate the midrange space. But as always, numbers tell only half the story.

Phones with this kind of capacity are usually thick, heavy slabs, but realme has managed to keep the 15 Pro 5G impressively slim at just 7.79mm and light at 187 grams. This balance between battery life and form factor immediately sets the tone for what this device is set to offer in this price range.
The design flows smoothly from front to back which is not a departure for the model it replaces. On the front, we have the 4D Curve+ display that, from the name itself, is cured on all edges. We have an 1.5K AMOLED panel here which gives crisp visuals and complements how comfortable the phone feels on the hand.
Flip it over, we'll be greeted by a unique Velvet Green variant. This opt for a distinct finish; it's a combination of satin-like texture and vegan leather. There's also a Flowing Silver variant carries a glossy, reflective look that catches light dramatically. I appreciate the velvet finish on the back, but I’m not entirely sure how well it will hold up over time. The surface tends to pick up dirt and smudges easily, so it’s still best to keep the case on for protection.
The realme 15 Pro 5G also carries IP66, IP68, and even IP69 certifications. That means it is fully dustproof, resistant to submersion in water, and even capable of withstanding high-pressure water jets. In the midrange space, this level of durability is quite impressive. It’s a feature that gives me extra peace of mind when using the phone outdoors or in the rain.
One noteworthy feature is the Pulse Light on the back. It’s a circular LED ring which encircles the ultra-wide camera that can pulse in customizable colors. Unlike many gimmicky notification LEDs of the past, this one is genuinely useful. It works as a charging indicator, notification alert, or even syncs with music playback. I find it very useful when my phone is lying face down, the Pulse Light becomes an intuitive glanceable signal that I need to pick up my phone.
Display
The realme 15 Pro 5G is framed by a 6.8-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel. It is curved on both sides at a 44.8° angle. The curvature adds to its immersive quality while still being subtle enough to avoid accidental touches. As mentioned, the screen supports a 144Hz refresh rate, which makes every swipe, scroll, and transition feel incredibly fluid. But I still can't see the holistic use of it (other than gaming) especially when most apps are not running in this refresh rate.
What sets this display apart, however, is brightness. At 6500 nits peak, it’s brighter than most flagship smartphones available today. I find it very useful when I'm using the phone under direct sunlight or when I'm viewing HDR content. Visibility is never an issue. Protection is handled by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, which is durable enough to withstand minor drops and daily scratches.
The panel stretches nearly edge to edge, with a 94% screen-to-body ratio and ultra-thin bezels that maximize immersion. When it comes to the display quality, I am quite impressed. Colors are vibrant but well-tuned. This avoids the over saturation issue that most AMOLED panels fall into.
Watching content feels rich, and when paired with the phone’s dual stereo speakers, the experience comes close to what you’d expect from pricier devices. The speakers themselves deliver loud, balanced audio that adds to the cinematic feel when I'm streaming my favorite shows in Netflix or even playing games.
Performance and Gaming
Under the hood, the realme 15 Pro 5G runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 that's built on a 4nm process. This chipset brings significant efficiency gains while still pushing performance closer to flagship territory. The SoC comes with an Adreno 722 GPU clocked at 1150MHz that's more than capable of handling demanding workloads. Benchmarks reflect this, with the device easily crossing the 1 million mark on AnTuTu, that's 1,023,340 score to be exact. This score speaks volumes about its capability. Likewise, in our Geekbench 6.0 test, the phone tallied 3524 Multi-Core and 1212 Single-Core. In the GPU benchmarks, it score 4547 in OpenCL and 6585 in Vulkan.
In real-world use, the phone feels consistently snappy. Apps open quickly and transitions remain fluid even when several processes run in the background. The realme 15 Pro also packs 12GB of onboard RAM, which can be expanded virtually up to 26GB via Dynamic RAM Expansion. This results to better multitasking and less app crashes. Likewise, most of my memory-heavy tasks are handled without hiccups. Storage options go up to 512GB with UFS 3.1. However, the phone lacks expandable microSD support which might be a drawback for users who store a lot of local files.
In gaming, the GT Boost 3.0 shines. It is realme’s gaming-focused optimization tool which offers granular controls when using compatible apps. It has features like Geek Power Tuning, which lets advanced users manually tweak CPU and GPU behavior. Meanwhile, the AI Gaming Coach 2.0 provides real-time assistance in supported games. I find this feature useful in optimizing in-game settings and improving overall stability. This layered software also allows me to control my music selections in Spotify without going out of the game.
To keep things cool, realme employs a 7000 mm² Vapor Chamber Cooling System. Covering more than half of the phone’s internals, it ensures that heat is dissipated efficiently even during extended gaming or video recording sessions. In realtime, I experienced fewer performance drops caused by thermal throttling especially when playing graphics intensive games like Genshin Impact or Wuthering Waves.
The phone also supports 120fps gameplay in Mobile Legends and 90fps in PUBG Mobile. Another noteworthy feature is the AI Ultra Touch Control. It reduces the chance of missed taps and ensures more precise responses during fast-paced sessions through learning in-game touch zones. There’s also dedicated RAM allocation for gaming which reduces load times and keeps matches flowing smoothly. All of this combined enhances the overall gaming experience when using the realme 15 Pro 5G.
Cameras
The realme 15 Pro 5G's main sensor is a 50MP Sony IMX896 with f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization. This sensor is capable of shooting detailed photos in both daylight and low light. Video performance is equally impressive with stabilized 4K recording at 60fps.

The ultra-wide camera also uses a 50MP OV50D sensor with a 115.6° field of view. Color consistency between the main and ultra-wide shooters is commendable, making it easier to switch perspectives without jarring differences. Even this lens supports 4K video, which is rare for midrange devices. Compared to previous top-of-the-line phones in the number series, I think the ultra-wide camera improved by a wide margin. It retains most of the details from the main camera, and photos are pretty sharp and contrasty.
Up front, a 50MP OV50D handles selfies and vlogging duties. It produces crisp images and supports 4K 60fps video. Content creators would definitely love this sensor. There's a Dual-view recording, which allows simultaneous capture from the front and rear cameras, is a particularly handy feature for vloggers.
realme’s AI suite takes the camera experience further. AI MagicGlow 2.0 makes clever use of the Breathing Light for backlighting effects, while AI Smart Remover 2.0 can erase unwanted objects from photos. Most of the features I love from the previous model are here - the AI Snap Mode helps capture fast-moving subjects, and AI Edit Genie allows for auto-enhancements or even voice-guided edits. The Party Mode also adds a layer of fresh and electric vibe on the photo.

The 7000 mAh battery is arguably the realme 15 Pro 5G's biggest flex. It easily outlasts most competitors and it gave me the confidence to go two full days without charging. To put this in perspective, it can handle over 110 hours of Spotify streaming, nearly a full day of YouTube playback, or marathon video calls without breaking a sweat. Even when recording 4K video at 60fps, it manages more than four hours before draining.
Charging is handled by 80W SUPERVOOC technology. A full 0 to 100% charge takes just over an hour, while a quick 5-minute top-up already provides enough juice for several hours of light use. For gamers, the Smart Bypass Charging mode is a clever addition. This feature routes power directly to the system instead of the battery which significantly reduces long-term battery wear.
Software
The phone boots with realme UI 6.0 which runs on top of Android 15. The realme 15 Pro 5G pushes AI deeper into the everyday smartphone experience. AI Multitasker streamlines app switching, while AI Smart Loop simplifies cross-app sharing by dragging and dropping content. Students and professionals will appreciate AI Recording Summary, which automatically transcribes and condenses voice notes into concise summaries.
There are a handful of tools that feel genuinely useful. These save me time and reduces friction in daily tasks. The interface remains clean and intuitive, with customization options for users who want to tailor their phone to their workflow.

The phone mainly focuses on meaningful upgrades - a class-leading 144Hz AMOLED display with unmatched brightness, a massive 7000 mAh battery, a versatile triple 50MP camera system, and AI-driven features that make both gaming and productivity smoother.
It isn’t flawless. At Php 27,999, it’s priced slightly higher than its competitors, but it makes up for it with compelling upgrades, particularly in the battery and display.
