Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ Review: Power in its Slimmest Form

There’s no shortage of slim pThere’s no shortage of slim phones in today’s market. The challenge is packing enough power and battery to ensure that the phone’s "thinness" doesn’t compromise essential features. The Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ is leading the charge in this niche. And with its affordable price point of under Php 9K, could this be another hit from the company?

Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ Review - Main Photo

At just 5.95mm, the Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ earns its title as the world’s slimmest 3D-curved AI phone. It’s more than just a feat of engineering, it’s a bold statement in smartphone design. But does it live up to the hype when it comes to real-world performance, camera, display, and day-to-day use? Here’s my full review of the Infinix HOT 60 Pro+, and let's see if this paper-thin device delivers power in all the right places.

Design: Slimmest 3D-curved AI Phone

The Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ wears its thinness like a badge of honor. At just 5.95mm, it’s hard to imagine how that translates in hand until you hold it. That’s when it becomes clear: this is a well-built device, despite its ultra-slim profile. The under 6mm number is impressive, but what makes it unforgettable is how this slimness plays out in real life.

Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ Review - Slim Form

When holding it beside everyday items like stacked credit cards, a pencil, coins, and even the edge of a notebook, the HOT 60 Pro+ holds its own. It practically disappears when slipped into a tight pocket or under a folder. Thus, the brand’s “Paper Thin” concept could be working for this device. This is the kind of phone that you double check for, because it feels weightless at just 155g.

And yet, despite the thin profile, it doesn’t sacrifice durability. Corning Gorilla Glass 7i covers the front of the device. Likewise, the HOT 60 Pro+ is also rated with IP65 to protect against dust and splashes. What I love the most about its design is the elegant curves, solid in-hand feel, and an ultra-refined look that punches way above its price tag.

Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ Review - Ports and Buttons

We have a Titanium Silver colorway for our review unit and it looks premium when seen in the wild. The phone also comes in Coral Tides, Sleek Black and Misty Violet. As for the ports and buttons, everything is laid out in a no-nonsense, practical manner. The bottom side is the busiest, housing the SIM tray, primary microphone, USB-C port, and speakers. On the right side, you’ll find the power button and volume rocker, with the power button’s green accent subtly standing out. Up top, there’s the secondary speaker, a “Sound by JBL” branding, and an additional microphone.

The Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ proves that a slim phone can still feel premium. Its 5.95mm profile, solid build, and refined design strike a smart balance.

Display

The 6.78-inch 3D-curved AMOLED panel is considerably a bright display when compared to other phones I’ve seen in this segment. The 1.5K resolution paired with a 144Hz refresh rate makes scrolling, streaming or gaming feel fluid. I enjoyed my time binge-watching and playing games with this display. On top of that, it also offers great contrast and clarity.

Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ Review - Display

The high pixel density keeps text crisp and visuals vibrant. I also mentioned that the display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i which offers peace of mind from accidental drops. It’s rare to see a 144Hz AMOLED screen at this price. On top of that, there's also a ton of useful software features for the display like the High Brightness Mode, Sleep Aid Mode, Eye Care and more.

Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ Review - Multimedia

You can also manually customize the refresh rate into several modes - Auto- Switch, Standard or High. I used Auto-Switch for optimal screen refresh rate that's based on usage. This also balances smooth display and battery life. Overall, the display is great for content consumption and gaming. It's also a great companion for daily activities like scrolling through social media feeds, checking calendars, managing tasks, and more.

Performance

Under the hood, the phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G200 which keeps things running smoothly. Paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, this setup can handle day-to-day tasks with ease. App switching, video calls, casual gaming and social media browsing feel effortless with this handset.

Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ Review - Gaming

I also enjoy my time gaming with the Infinix HOT 60 Pro+.  Popular Games like Mobile Legends, Call of Duty Mobile, and Asphalt 9 ran steadily at medium to high settings. Thermal management is quite decent too, thanks to the phone’s thin body and optimized cooling structure.

Multitasking is smooth, and the phone supports extended RAM, allowing you to convert storage into additional working memory when needed. It’s not built for flagship-level gaming, but I think for most users, it delivers consistent, fluid performance across the board.

Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ Review - Streaming

The phone does not have a physical fingerprint sensor but it features an optical sensor embedded on the display. This is quite fast in detecting fingerprints and comes with cool dynamic unlocking effects. The phone also comes with stereo speakers which offer an immersive experience when streaming videos and playing games; this is a great feat for a phone with a very thin profile.

Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ Review - Benchmarks

Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ Review - Benchmarks, Geekbench

As for benchmarks, the phone scored 432,804 in our Antutu Benchmark test. It also tallied 737 single-core and 1999 multi-core scores in Geekbench 6.0. In our graphics benchmark test, the phone scored 1476 in OpenCL and 1458 in Vulkan GPU tests.

Camera

The Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ comes with a 50MP Sony IMX882 rear sensor coupled with auxiliary lenses. The sensors are positioned in a vertical camera module that’s similar to the previously released NOTE 50 series.

Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ Review - Camera

The main camera captures sharp, detailed photos in good lighting. Color reproduction is natural, and dynamic range holds up well, even in backlit scenarios. Likewise, the camera app also offers 2x zoom which could still retail most of the details of the original photo. You can still zoom beyond 2x but I do not advise this since the quality degrades abruptly at this point. For a phone in this price bracket, the camera performance feels like a bonus.

It is also very competitive even in low-light. The phone can capture stunning visuals at night with good detail and color saturation. However, there’s a slight noise build up and unexposed areas.

Portrait mode does a good job with edge detection, and night mode adds clarity without excessive smoothing. The 8MP front camera is decent for selfies and video calls, though it could use a bit more sharpness in low light.

This is not a camera-first phone, but it punches above its weight, especially for social media content and casual everyday shots.

Software: One-Tap Infinix AI

The phone runs Android 15 out of the box, with Infinix’s familiar XOS 15 skin layered on top. It’s lightweight, smooth, and relatively bloat-free. Useful features like app cloning, smart panel, and video assistant tools add functionality without clutter.

Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ Review: Software

Infinix is also leaning into better software optimization this time around. The background app management is better, and the AI assistant ties into multiple system elements. This makes the overall experience feel more modern and cohesive.

One of the more unique additions is the Infinix AI:Ask Everything feature. This is Infinix’s approach to integrating AI more deeply into daily tasks, and it works better than expected. You can highlight content and ask follow-up questions, generate summaries, translate instantly, or even search with context. It’s powered in part by Google Gemini AI which gives users extra edge when it comes to real-time assistance. Google's Circle to Search is also built right in.

This AI integration feels intentional and genuinely useful, especially for students, professionals, or anyone looking to get more from their device with fewer steps.

Battery

Despite its slim form, the Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ manages to pack a 5160mAh battery, which comfortably lasts a full day on moderate use. Streaming, browsing, light gaming, and even a few hours of "hotspotting" won’t drain it before dinner. In other words, it can definitely last a full day in fair to moderate use.

Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ Review: Battery

When it’s time to refuel, 45W fast charging gets you back to 56% in about 30 minutes and 100% in just 59 minutes. That’s quick enough to eliminate range anxiety, and it’s impressive considering the tight real estate inside this phone.

Verdict: Should You Buy the Infinix HOT 60 Pro+?

The Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ is one of the most exciting sub-PHP 9K phones we’ve seen in 2025. It balances form and function, delivers on its promises, and challenges what budget smartphones can look and feel like. It is clearly made for users who want design and performance in one device. It’s for those who appreciate aesthetics but won’t settle for poor battery life or sluggish performance. The device is highly recommended for digital natives, style-conscious users, and even gamers looking for something different. The phone retails at Php 8,999 with a promo price of Php 7,799, which makes it even more appealing to the masses.

Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ Review: Wrap Up
