OPPO today revealed its enhanced artificial intelligence (AI) strategy, positioning itself as a leader in AI experiences. The company is focused on delivering comprehensive, secure, and continuously evolving AI solutions at the OPPO AI Tech Summit during MWC2025.

Collaboration with Google for System-Level AI and Enhanced Security
As AI applications continue to evolve, OPPO is advancing from functional-level to system-level AI. This shift creates new demands for integration and security on devices. OPPO is strengthening its partnership with Google to bring advanced AI experiences to smartphones. Soon, Google Gemini will enhance native OPPO apps like Notes, Calendar, and Clock, providing unprecedented performance and responsiveness. OPPO AI Phones already support Gemini 1.5 Pro and Gemini 1.5 Flash, with plans to introduce the latest Gemini 2.0 soon.
To ensure user privacy and security, OPPO is also rolling out Private Computing Cloud (PCC) powered by Google Cloud’s Confidential Computing. Starting this year, features such as AI Recording Summary, AI Search, AI Studio, and AI Call Summary will integrate with OPPO Private Computing Cloud.

Continuous Innovation Through Extensive AI R&D
OPPO’s AI strategy focuses on three core areas: AI Productivity, AI Creativity, and AI Imaging. These pillars are supported by a broad AI R&D strategy that covers chips, devices, and cloud infrastructure. OPPO is partnering with MediaTek to optimize chips for real-time AI processing, ensuring powerful performance without sacrificing energy efficiency.

From AI-enhanced photography to next-generation gaming experiences, from intelligent security solutions to seamless device connectivity, the possibilities are limitless.”
AI technologies like LoRA (Low-Rank Adaptation), Parallel Decoding, and MoE (Mixture of Experts) are boosting OPPO devices’ AI performance. OPPO also offers a robust data security system, ensuring protection across devices and the cloud.
Expanding Reach and Accelerating AI Innovation
As AI technology evolves, OPPO is redefining how AI enhances daily life. After surpassing its goal of 50 million users in 2024, OPPO now aims to reach 100 million users by the end of 2025. To meet this growing demand, OPPO plans to release an average of one AI update per month
Upcoming features include AI Search and OPPO app integration with Google Gemini, available soon on the OPPO Find N5. Additional AI features such as AI Call Translator (for real-time, multilingual call interpretation) and AI VoiceScribe (for summarizing voice calls, online learning, and meetings) will also be rolled out in future updates.
