LG Electronics (LG) has recently unveiled its upgraded residential air conditioner, the DUALCOOL™ AI Air. This new model is equipped with advanced AI Core-Tech, offering an exceptional blend of comfort, energy efficiency, and air quality. It is available in four variants: 1.0 HP, 1.5 HP, 2.0 HP, and 2.5 HP.

The DUALCOOL™ AI Air provides a tailored air conditioning experience for each user. Powered by the AI DUAL Inverter™, it intelligently detects the room’s temperature and adjusts airflow, direction, and speed to maintain consistent comfort. The AI Air mode features the Human Detecting Sensor, which tracks the user’s location and learns usage patterns through spatial analysis via the ThinQ app. This allows the system to create the most efficient airflow, delivering direct cooling or heating and then switching to Soft Air mode once the ideal temperature is reached.
In addition, the new model includes Sleep Timer+, which studies your sleep patterns and adjusts the temperature to create a relaxing environment. It operates quietly throughout the night to ensure a restful sleep. The DUAL Vane™ system and Soft Air function further enhance comfort by improving airflow control.

The DUALCOOL AI Air is also designed with energy savings in mind. Its AI kW Manager lets users set and monitor electricity usage, ensuring minimal energy consumption. The Human Detecting Sensor and Window Open Detection features enable the system to detect when a room is empty or when the temperature changes, activating energy-saving modes to optimize performance.
For easy maintenance, the new model includes an All Cleaning mode, accessible with just a tap in the ThinQ app. This feature runs a full maintenance cycle, including Freeze Cleaning™ to remove contaminants and Auto Clean+, which dries the interior. Additionally, the Plasmaster™ Ionizer++ can eliminate up to 99.9% of bacteria, dust, and debris for even cleaner air.
“The LG DUALCOOL AI Air exemplifies our dedication to enhancing indoor temperature control with latest air conditioners,” said James Lee, president of LG ES Company. “We are committed to advancing our state-of-the-art AI technology to shape the future of innovative air conditioning solutions,” he added.
