OPPO and Smart Communications, Inc. conducted tests on the AI LinkBoost 2.0 technology in the OPPO Reno13 Series 5G across Metro Manila. The tests evaluated connectivity performance in various urban environments, assessing network stability, signal strength, and data speeds.

OPPO and Smart conducted a series of network performance tests to evaluate the AI LinkBoost 2.0 technology in the OPPO Reno13 Series 5G. The tests focused on connectivity strength, network recovery, and data transfer speeds in various challenging environments.
The OPPO Reno13 Series 5G, certified by TÜV Rheinland for high network performance, outperformed competing smartphones in maintaining stable connections. It demonstrated strong performance in weak signal areas, congested locations, and spaces with network interference, such as subways and elevators.
Equipped with 11 antennas and a 360º Surround Antenna solution, the AI LinkBoost 2.0 technology improved signal reception and enhanced network stability. The device achieved download speeds of 82.6 Mbps and upload speeds of 7.2 Mbps in weak signal areas, significantly faster than competitors.
In elevator tests, the Reno13 Series 5G restored lost signals in an average of 9.6 seconds, compared to 40 seconds for other devices. Its Wi-Fi coverage extended 37.95% farther than competing models, ensuring a more stable internet experience.
The device also excelled in mobility tests, minimizing video streaming lag to 35.5 seconds in subway tunnels, while competing models experienced delays of up to 100 seconds. In congested areas, the Reno13 Series 5G transferred files in 1.8 seconds, up to 90% faster than other smartphones.
OPPO’s AI LinkBoost 2.0 continues to push connectivity standards, ensuring seamless communication even in challenging conditions. The OPPO Reno13 Series 5G is available through Smart, with exclusive plans for Prepaid and Postpaid users.
