Team Alter Ego (VALORANT) and Myth Avenue Gaming (Dota 2) were crowned champions of the Asia Pacific Predator League 2025 after a fierce competition against the top teams from 14 regions. Both teams secured the prestigious Predator Shield and took home USD 65,000 in prize money each, marking a significant milestone in the event's sixth edition.

As the Asia Pacific Predator League 2025 came to a close in Kuala Lumpur, Acer revealed that the next edition of the event will be hosted by the Acer India office. This marks a continued commitment to the growth of the esports and PC gaming ecosystem. The ceremonial handover of the Predator League pennant took place between Acer Malaysia’s Managing Director, Kon Tek Yoong, and Acer India’s President and Managing Director, Harish Kohli.

In the thrilling VALORANT final, Team ZOL Esports, the first runner-up, staged a dramatic comeback, winning six consecutive rounds to tie the score at 11-11 from a 5-11 deficit after a crucial mid-game reset. Despite the intense pressure, Team Alter Ego regained their composure and displayed exceptional teamwork to clinch the victory.

Meanwhile, Myth Avenue Gaming earned a resounding victory in the Dota 2 Grand Finals, defeating Team Helios 2-0 in front of an ecstatic home crowd to lift the Predator Shield.

In addition to the prestigious Predator Shield, ten special awards were up for grabs in the Intel Allstar Vote, with a total prize pool of USD 20,000 for both VALORANT and Dota 2. The public had the chance to vote for their favorite players based on their respective roles.

The two-day APAC Predator League 2025 Grand Finals offered more than just intense gaming— it was a celebration of esports culture and entertainment. The event bridged the gap between gamers and non-gamers, featuring a range of activities that highlighted energy, teamwork, and community spirit.

Acer introduced exciting new elements this year, including two exclusive champion avatars, Nero and Yuffy, as well as their animated video, and the Predator "It Lies Within" theme song in local languages. The community was treated to unforgettable performances by K-pop stars Sandara Park and Minzy of 2NE1, alongside Malaysian artists Aina Abdul and Hael Husaini, and G22 from the Philippines. The Coswalk Competition also stole the spotlight, showcasing Malaysia’s top cosplay talent with characters like Valkia the Bloody from Warhammer: Age of Sigmar and Thanatos from Persona 3, with a total prize pool of RM 25,000.
