The new devices also introduce a dedicated camera control button, allowing users to take photos, adjust zoom, and switch modes with ease. Additionally, the iPhone 16 series includes the Action button, which provides customizable shortcuts for various functions and tasks.
The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus retain their display sizes of 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches, respectively, and like their predecessors, offer peak brightness levels up to 2,000 nits. Despite no significant changes to the display, Apple has upgraded their camera systems.
The main camera still has a 48-megapixel sensor, but improvements include a new ultrawide lens with enhanced light capture. A vertical camera alignment allows for spatial photo and video recording, and compatible with Apple's Vision Pro headset.
Pricing for the iPhone 16 starts at $799, while the iPhone 16 Plus is priced at $899. These new iPhones will come in stunning colors, such as ultramarine, teal, and pink, in addition to traditional white and black.
The iPhone 16 and 16 Plus will run on iOS 18, which will integrate with Apple’s new AI capabilities for enhanced functionality and user experience.
