Canon Philippines launches the EOS R5 Mark II, EOS R1 in the Philippines

Canon Philippines officially launched the EOS R5 Mark II and EOS R1, its latest top-tier, full-frame mirrorless cameras, at an event in Raffles Makati on 12 September 2024. These cameras offer features such as a 45-megapixel sensor and 8K video recording, aiming to meet the evolving needs of photographers and videographers in the Philippine market.

The EOS R5 Mark II is designed for ultimate performance, building on the strengths of the original EOS R5 while adding new features that enhance both image quality and shooting efficiency. It features a 45-megapixel sensor, 8K 60P RAW recording, and a next-generation Dual Pixel Intelligent AF system, which leverages Canon's Accelerated Capture image processing system for remarkable autofocus and subject detection capabilities.

The camera's 10-bit Canon Log 2 technology also allows for vivid color reproduction and smooth integration with the Cinema EOS workflow, making it well-suited for professional video production.

Canon's new EOS R5 Mark II is now available for pre-order in the Philippines, priced at Php 249,998 for the body bundled with a 512GB CF Express Type B card, and Php 329,998 with the RF24-105mm f/4L IS USM lens bundle. Customers can pre-order at any Canon store or authorized dealer nationwide.
