The realme 11 Pro+ 5G is set to be released in the Philippines this week. This smartphone, alongside the standard variant realme 11 Pro, is gathering a lot of attention lately. We're very lucky to test the unit in advance and in our tradition of giving you a tease before we drop the full review, here's our unboxing of the realme 11 Pro+.

Let's look into the phone's aesthetics, and some of its major selling points. For one, we love the unique design especially the back panel. The 200MP main camera is also something you won't miss, and of course, the stunning large display that we'll definitely take advantage of when streaming content.
What's in the Box?
The realme 11 Pro+ 5G has the standard inclusions inside the box. We have the main unit wrapped in a plastic pack. Plus, there's a packet for the silicone clear case, SIM ejector tool, and documentations. We also have the USB-C cable and the 100-watt wall adapter.
As usual, there's no earphones included in the box. This is not a big issue for me since realme has left this in the cutting room several release cycles ago.
Design, Display
The realme 11 Pro+ 5G is a unique smartphone in terms of design. The phone has a "Premium Vegan Leather Design", and is co-created by former Gucci Prints and Textile designer - Matteo Menotto. You'll also notice a vertical seam that traverses the center of the back, extending from its upper edge to the lowermost part.
The seam is covered with a clear and durable plastic material, and is bordered by a stitched pattern which adds a layer of sophistication to the design. This is something we haven't seen before; even when compared to other handsets with leather back panels, this design stands out.
There's a circular camera module that sticks out on the back panel. Obviously, this is where the three camera sensors are situated, together with the LED flash. The railings are made of high quality material and comes with a different green tone than the backing. However, the frame still complements the backing, making a cohesive design and build.
Ports and buttons are placed in their usual position - the power button and volume rocker on the right, microphone and speaker on the top, and the bottom side is crammed with the SIM card tray, microphone, USB-C port, and speaker grille.
As for the display, the realme 11 Pro+ 5G frames a 6.7-inch Curved OLED display that supports up to 120Hz refresh rate. realme says that the display has a 60-degree curve, which makes the design symmetrical when you look at the phone from its sides. We are also treated with 93.65% screen-to-body ratio and 900 nits brightness.
The overall build and design of the handset is quite sturdy; it even feels premium and I love to use this smartphone without a case due to its exquisite design. It weighs just about right at 189 grams, which is definitely within my tolerance for a big phone.
Camera, Hardware
The meat of the conversation when it comes to the camera is the 200MP main sensor. It supports Optical Image Stabilization so it is expected to perform better in low-light and video recording. The camera app also supports up to 4x zoom; it's also worth noting that this is just a digital zoom since we don't have a telephoto sensor in the mix. We'll share more about the camera in our upcoming review.
We are looking into a faster processor compared to the last generation. The realme 11 Pro+ 5G supports up to 512GB of storage for your multimedia files. And for the battery, we have a 5000 mAh capacity, with a whopping 100-watt fast charging support.
Conclusion
There's a lot to get excited about the realme 11 Pro+ 5G, and the whole series in general. From our unboxing and impressions perspective, it is a well-balanced smartphone with exquisite design, large battery with 100W fast charging support, robust display, and 200MP rear camera.
