Xiaomi,
Chinese smartphone maker, is expanding its market in the Philippines. It is
expected to ship out 3,000 units of its flagship smartphone - the Xiaomi
Mi3. The device will go on sale on the 26th of June through its local partner Lazada Philippines for the price of Php 10,599.
The device debuted in the Chinese market last October 2013 and immediately became the fastest selling Xiaomi smartphone
within just three minutes of launch.
Desing-wise, it
looks perfectly good in the outside. You will instantly adore this device due to its aluminum chassis and a stunning 5-inch Full-HD (1920x1080p)
display that is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. Internally, the device runs on 2.3 GHz
quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and has 2GB of RAM for the phone’s
multitasking needs. The phone will also have
16 GB inbuilt memory.
The phone will definitely give you a long mileage (more than a day of moderate
use) with its 3050 mAh battery. Other specs include 3G-capability,
NFC, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for connectivity; and 13MP camera with dual-LED flash
for mobile photography. One of the unique features of this phone is that it is
powered by its own skinned version of Android called MIUI.
The
downside, it does not support LTE connectivity and it also lacks microSD slot
which means you are only limited to 16GB of ROM for your multimedia files.
Overall,
this phone is a wise-buy. The nice build, good performance and affordable
price are the phone's best assets. So put it in mind, June 26th at exactly 12 noon, stocks will be available in a limited
number of 3000 units.
