Samsung Galaxy Mini will retail only at Php 14,990, early birds could get it at Php 9,990

Samsung Philippines will launch the miniature version of the Galaxy S III in both Manila and Cebu. The Galaxy S III Mini is the answer to those seeking for a trimmed-down yet capable version of the Android powerhouse.

For those of you living under the rock, the Galaxy S III Mini sports a fair TouchWiz-ed 4-inch WVGA Super AMOLED screen display compacted in a semi-curve frame. This “compact yet powerful smartphone” will come pre-installed with Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), one of the great things that will potentials buyers to the device. Under the hood, this newbie will run in a 1 GHz dual-core processor and will have a 5MP rear shooter. Likewise a front-facing camera will also be there in VGA quality with LED flash.

The scaled-down 1GB RAM is ample enough to support all your multi-tasking functions. However, we'll have to see how long the 1500 mAh would keep you on the run.

The Galaxy S III Mini will be released in the Philippines on February 2 with a Php 14,990 price tag. Plus, Samsung PH is trimming it down to Php 12,990 for the first-day buyers. But wait, there's more! Early birds who'll buy this device between 10AM to 12NN will only get this device (plus a flip cover) for just Php 9,900!

Note: Promo is only available for Samsung booth in SM Mall of Asia and SM City Cebu!
