Smartphones having 5-inch displays are expected to hit mobile arena in 2013 but Samsung has its zealous energy to announce the Samsung Galaxy Grand before the year ends.
This handset will feature WVGA screen with 480 x 800 pixel resolution. Specs-wise, it'll come with 1.2GHz dual-core processor so we're very sure that this will not be at par with the rumored Galaxy S IV. Most of its specs, like the 1GB of RAM, reminds me of the Cherry Mobile Titan aside from its 8MP rear shooter that could capture 1080p HD quality and 2MP front camera.
In the memory department, it will initially have 8GB of internal memory expandable via microSD slot - a friendly gadget for active downloaders. It's connectivity comes with GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, HSPA+. And the capable 2100mAh battery might be a so-so specs considering that it'll sport a 5-inch display and Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean).
No pricing and availability has been announced yet, but it'll come in both single-SIM and dual-SIM variants.
Update: Galaxy Grand is now available in the Philippines with Php 16,990 price tag.
