Microsoft opens the pre-order
page for the ultimate stage of their Windows RT platform – the Surface tablet.
Currently, only the RT version of the software is available so those who want
to have the Windows 8 Pro version would want to hold their money for a while.
The Windows RT in the new Surface
tablet will include Microsoft Office Home and Student 2013. Apart from the
October 26 launch. Microsoft has been strict on pouring out details since the
June launching of the device; but now the Redmond-company revealed specs of the
specs, pricing and availability of Surface Windows RT Tablet.
It will definitely come in 32GB
and 64GB configurations that support the 2GB of RAM. Rear and front facing
cameras are present together with the full-sized USB 2.0 slots, a microSDXC
card slot and headset jack. Other connectivity options are WiFi, Bluetooth and
HDMI port out.
Beginning October 26, Microsoft
Windows RT Tablet will be available in US and Canada. It’ll also be rolled out
in 6 different markets across the globe: Australia, China, France, Germany,
United Kingdom and Hong Kong.
