Cherry Mobile’s entry to the “phablet” catergory comes with their Cherry Mobile W500 Titan. This not-a-phone-not-yet-a-tablet device sports 5-inch capacitive touch screen with 480 x 800 pixel resolution. The package comes with a flip-top cover with a very-practical price of Php 6499!
Aside from very competitive price, it ticks with a dual-core
1.0GHz MediaTek MT6577 processor and PowerVR SGX531 GPU. A 512MB of RAM to keep
you tasks flow smoothly. Other features boast a 5MP rear shooter with flash and
VGA front camera.
This new device includes 4GB of flash memory and can be
expandable to 32GB. Just like the Flare, there isn’t anything special about the
design but the back has a matte anti-fingerprint and anti-smudge finish.
You can juice-up a decent 2350mAh of battery. It is fused with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and the dual-SIM (dual-standby)
capability may also be a deal maker for most of you.
Again, the price is only Php 6499 and it will be available
in November in all Cherry Mobile kiosks nationwide.
