Samsung releases new phones and does the Alphabet

Samsung sprouts 4 new handsets, all running with gingerbread for their OS. However, this release had been outstaged by the hilarious new nomenclature for these new models. But before we drop our jaw with these names, let us try to dig into the features of these phones. Well, atleast this batch promises an upgrade with the new 4G technology- LTE, yep it’s LTE.

Galaxy W leads the pack with 1.4 GHz processor. It also hit the storage bars with its 4GB on-board-storage and can be expanded by SD Card. Plus its 3.7 inch screen and 5MP camera is quite a catch. The Galaxy Y and Galaxy Y Pro both comes with 832 MHz and “everything-else specs” will give you a frown. Yet, both have 160 MB storage, with 3.0 and 2.6-inch screen and 2MP and 3MP camera, respectively. The Galaxy M Pro is quite a compensation of both W and Y with 1GHz processor, 1 GB RAM and 5MP camera.

Too much of the specs, now we go to the best part. Samsung seems too serious about refining its names and tagging it with alphabet letters. And the most interesting part is the meaning of the letters itself. The alphabetized naming structure is like giving Apple and Nokia a bitchslap in both cheeks. But the real deal is that the letters are actually a representative of what Sammy (Samsung) thinks of its phones. So, here's how Samsung tried to recall their alphabet song:
The “S” – Which means “SUPERSMART”, it’s like tagging SmartPhones as smart and dealing with redundancy later. This is the elite group that stays in the summit of the brand. Basically they’re the brats in the product line because they’re the Samsung Galaxy S, the award-winning smartphone that rakes in 10 million units up to date.
The "R" – Means Royal / Refined are premium category models which is basically a “combination of power, performance and productivity for the individual who wants to be defined by the technology they carry”. It means that they’re the one for the professionals.

The "W" – Means Wonder due to its “high quality, strategic models”. It is perfect for those seeking a balance between style and performance. So this line is the one that give “Chic” and “Classy” appeal and offers job satisfaction at the same time.

The "M" – It stands for Magical, which simply for high-performance yet suits in an economic price. So this one is the “win-win” model in the brand.

The "Y"- Simply means as Young.  These entry models cater the younger audiences due to the fact that they are sensitive in price. Best suited for students and young professionals.

Well there you have it, the names might be humorous but I’m very sure the phones are quite a catch. Let’s just wait until Sammy do the counting next time.
