MANILA - HONOR has officially released the Magic V6 in the Philippines, bringing its latest flagship foldable to the local market with a price tag of Php 119,999 for the 16GB + 512GB configuration. Local retailer listings also confirm the same configuration and price.

The Magic V6 was originally scheduled for its Philippine launch on August 18, but HONOR moved the event to August 24 due to weather conditions. The company positioned the foldable around four key areas: durability, battery life, flagship performance, and AI capabilities.
The HONOR Magic V6 features a 7.95-inch foldable LTPO OLED display with a 2,172 x 2,352-pixel resolution and a 6.52-inch external OLED display for everyday use when the phone is closed.
HONOR keeps the design slim despite the large foldable screen. The phone measures around 4mm when unfolded and about 8.8mm when folded, depending on the configuration.
Under the hood, the Magic V6 runs on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform, paired with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage in the Philippine model. It runs MagicOS 10 based on Android 16.
The Magic V6 packs a 6,660mAh silicon-carbon battery, which is one of its biggest hardware highlights. It supports 80W wired HONOR SuperCharge and 66W wireless charging, along with wireless reverse charging.
For a foldable this thin, the large battery capacity gives the Magic V6 an advantage for users who spend a lot of time on the phone, especially with its large inner display.
Triple-camera setup
The Magic V6 comes with a triple-camera system on the back.
This includes a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 64MP telephoto camera with OIS. The setup supports up to 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom. Both the inner and outer displays also feature 20MP selfie cameras.
Built for more than just being thin

Durability is another major focus of the Magic V6. The foldable uses HONOR's Super Steel Hinge, which the company says has been tested for up to 500,000 folds. The cover display also uses HONOR's Anti-Scratch NanoCrystal Shield, which is designed to improve resistance against scratches and drops.
The Magic V6 is the first foldable smartphone to feature both IP68 and IP69 ratings. HONOR says the phone can withstand freshwater immersion of up to 1.5 meters for around 30 minutes, as well as high temperature water jets.
HONOR has put the durability claims to test with some unusual demonstrations. The Magic V6 was used in a water immersion test and a weight suspension challenge. The company also demonstrated the phone being pulled by a 1-ton Piper Arrow 3 aircraft with the foldable secured between the aircraft and a four-wheeler.
In our own coverage of the aircraft durability test, the Magic V6 remained operational after the pull.
HONOR Magic V6 Philippines Price and Availability

The HONOR Magic V6 16GB + 512GB is priced at Php 119,999 in the Philippines. Customers who pre-order until September 4 will receive a free HONOR Pad X8b. It is available in red, gold, and white through local retail channels.
At Php 119,999, the Magic V6 enters the premium foldable segment with a combination of a large 7.95-inch display, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 performance, a 6,660mAh battery, a versatile triple-camera system, and a durability-focused build.
For HONOR, the Magic V6 is less about making another thin foldable and more about addressing some of the usual concerns around foldable phones: battery capacity, hinge durability, water resistance, and everyday toughness.
