The Infinix NOTE Edge marks the first global deployment of the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor. The platform targets improved 5G performance across markets that face inconsistent connectivity, limited device access, and spectrum challenges. The device integrates optimization features that focus on stable connections, smoother video playback, and reduced lag in high-density environments.

MediaTek and Infinix developed joint signal optimization features that enhance performance in weak reception areas. The system improves loading speeds, stabilizes live streaming sessions, and lowers latency during online gaming. The device also includes targeted enhancements for crowded locations, which help maintain consistent performance during heavy network traffic.

The chipset supports gaming performance up to 90 FPS in supported titles such as Honor of Kings and 60 FPS gameplay in PUBG: Battlegrounds. The processor maintains stable multitasking and entertainment performance while sustaining thermal efficiency during extended sessions. Power optimization reduces modem energy consumption by up to 21 percent and lowers background usage for social applications by 4.4 percent.

The Infinix NOTE Edge introduces XOS 16, an Android 16-based operating system with updated interface elements and system-level interaction improvements. The new UI incorporates Glow Space natural light design elements, light-sensitive edges, and refined motion transitions across system menus and applications. The interface also integrates semi-transparent frosted-glass visual layers and 3D spatial wallpapers that create depth across icons, clocks, and system layouts.

XOS 16 enhances touch response through animation synchronization between user input and visual feedback. The system also supports Live Photo transfer with iPhone to preserve motion, audio, and image quality during cross-platform sharing. Hardware and software integration between the Dimensity 7100 and XOS 16 enables improved power efficiency, sustained performance, and refined system responsiveness within the mid-range category.
