HUAWEI has made the Mate X7 official in the Philippines as its latest flagship foldable. The device features an 8-inch flexible inner display, Crystal Armour Kunlun Glass for the outer screen, an IP58/59 rating, a 50MP dual-camera system, and a 5600mAh battery with 66W wired and 50W wireless charging.
HUAWEI positions the Mate X7 as its most durable foldable to date. The phone uses a 3-layer composite structure to protect the 8-inch flexible inner display. Crystal Armour Kunlun Glass shields the outer display. The device carries an IP58/59 rating for dust and water resistance. It can survive submersion in up to 2 meters of water for 30 minutes and can tolerate high-temperature water exposure.
The Mate X7 carries a flagship-level camera system. It includes a 50-megapixel Ultra Lighting HDR main camera and a 50-megapixel telephoto macro camera. The setup targets users who prioritize mobile photography in a foldable form factor.
Power comes from a 5600mAh silicon-carbon battery. The phone supports 66W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. HUAWEI states that the battery capacity supports all-day use under typical conditions.
In the Philippines, the Mate X7 retails for Php 119,999 for the 16GB/512GB variant. Preorders run until February 26. Customers who preorder receive a WATCH GT 5, Php 12,000 worth of trade-in tokens, a Php 10,000 card discount, and a 1-year, 1-time accidental damage protection.
