HUAWEI confirmed that the Mate X7 foldable smartphone will arrive in the Philippines on February 19, 2026. The device features an 8-inch LTPO inner display, dual 50MP cameras, a 5,600mAh battery, and a new hinge and protection system.
The HUAWEI Mate X7 comes in premium vegan leather and uses the Time-Space Gate camera design. Buyers can choose Nebula Red or Black. The device includes Crystal Armour Kunlun Glass on the outer screen and a three-layer composite inner display for added protection.
HUAWEI equips the Mate X7 with an Advanced Precision Hinge and an aviation-grade aluminum frame. The phone carries IP59 and IP58 ratings for dust and water resistance. It supports water submersion up to two meters for 30 minutes.
The foldable uses X-True Display technology. The inner screen measures 8 inches with LTPO 1-120Hz refresh rate and 2416 x 2210 resolution. The outer screen measures 6.49 inches with LTPO 1-120Hz refresh rate and 2444 x 1080 resolution. Live Multitask allows up to three app windows at once.
For imaging, the device includes a 50MP Ultra Lighting HDR Camera and a 50MP Telephoto Macro Camera. HUAWEI states that the True-to-Colour Camera system delivers 43% better color reproduction.
The Mate X7 packs a 5,600mAh silicon-carbon anode battery with 66W wired and 50W wireless SuperCharge. The device supports apps through HUAWEI AppGallery, including Google apps, GCash, BPI, BDO, Facebook, YouTube, and Angkas. HUAWEI Philippines has not confirmed the final chipset, though the global version uses the Kirin 9030 Pro processor.
