Apple has officially announced the iPhone 17 improved display, upgraded performance, and updated camera system. It is announced alongside the iPhone 17 Pro and the new iPhone Air.
The iPhone 17 features a 6.3-inch ProMotion display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Always-On functionality. Brightness has been improved to 3000 nits, paired with the updated Ceramic Shield 2 glass that is now three times more scratch-resistant.
Powering the device is the new A19 chip with an updated display engine, improved Neural Engine, and increased memory bandwidth. The chip features a 6-core CPU and 5-core GPU, designed to deliver faster performance and improved efficiency.
Battery life has also been optimized, with Apple promising all-day usage and up to eight hours of video playback. Wired charging speeds have been improved for quicker top-ups.
On the camera side, the iPhone 17 comes with a dual-camera system featuring a main camera and a telephoto lens. The front-facing camera supports Center Stage, ensuring users remain perfectly framed during video calls.
The iPhone 17 will be available in five colors: Lavender, Black, White, Sage, and Blue. The iPhone 17 starts at Php 57,990.
