Acer launched the first Acer Edu Summit Asia Pacific 2025 on May 7 at the Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel in Thailand. The two-day event gathered education leaders and delegates from the Philippines, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Australia, South Korea, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Taiwan under the theme “Shaping Tomorrow: AI and Digital Technologies in Education” to explore the growing impact of AI and digital tools in the academic sector.

The Acer Edu Summit Asia Pacific 2025 addressed the ongoing shift toward digital learning driven by advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI). The event featured sessions where educators, government officials, and technology experts presented strategies for integrating digital tools in classrooms, strengthening digital literacy, and building systems that support future-ready learning environments.

Acer showcased its AI-powered devices and education-focused solutions designed to improve classroom instruction, automate administrative processes, and increase student engagement. Delegates experienced practical applications of emerging technologies across various education settings.

Intel, Windows, and Google hosted interactive booths during the summit. Aopen, SpatialLabs, and Predator Gaming demonstrated the role of esports in education, while Altos presented its latest developments in AI server technology built to handle generative AI workloads and large-scale model training.

Two new Altos BrainSphere platforms headlined the tech showcase. The R680 F7 system supports up to eight NVIDIA RTX 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs, targeting compute-heavy and AI-driven operations. The R880 F7 platform, based on the NVIDIA B200 Blackwell Ultra GPU, offers energy-efficient performance for Large Language Model (LLM) training and advanced generative AI tasks.

Acer Pan Asia Pacific President Andrew Hou underscored the company’s efforts to drive innovation in education and equip institutions with the tools needed to navigate a technology-focused academic future.
