At the heart of the BYD Shark 6 DMO is the Dual Mode Off-road (DMO) technology. This groundbreaking feature allows the Shark 6 DMO to effortlessly switch between electric and fuel power modes to adapt to any driving conditions, optimizing both performance and efficiency.
The vehicle is powered by a 29.6kWh BYD Blade battery and a 1.5T onboard generator, supported by dual electric motors that produce a remarkable combined output of 435 PS and 650 Nm of torque. This combination makes it one of the most powerful pickups in its class. Whether navigating urban streets or conquering rugged terrain, the Shark 6 DMO delivers enhanced traction with its all-wheel drive system, standard across both variants.

The BYD Shark 6 DMO stands out with its blend of spartan strength and style. It’s built on a Cell-to-Chassis framework, integrating the proprietary Blade Battery as an integral part of the vehicle’s ladder frame and safety structure, enhancing rigidity and overall safety.
Its bold, muscular presence is accentuated by a commanding front grille, LED headlights, and connected daytime running lights. The two-tone 18-inch alloy wheels provide added off-road readiness, while the vehicle's 230mm ground clearance and 700mm wading depth make it capable of handling even the most challenging terrains.
The Shark 6 DMO has a payload capacity of 835 kg and can tow up to 2,500 kg, making it the perfect companion for any adventure that require hauling gear and cargo. With front and rear double wishbone suspension, the vehicle delivers a smoother, more comfortable ride on and off the road.
For driving versatility, the Shark 6 DMO features three drive modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport. Plus, multi-terrain modes like Sand and Mud allow it to adapt seamlessly to different conditions.
Inside, the Shark 6 DMO combines premium materials with a minimalist design. The cabin features leather seats with striking orange highlights for a sleek, modern feel. Comfort is prioritized with a 6-way power-adjustable driver seat and 4-way lumbar support in the Premium model, allowing for a customized driving position. Seat heating and ventilation for the two front seats are standard in the Premium trim. Additionally, the rear seatbacks in the backseat are reclined by 27 degrees. Along with the cabin’s expansive knee-room, this seating configuration ensures a more relaxing posture for rear passengers over long drives.
The 12.8-inch rotating touchscreen integrates wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, offering connectivity and convenience. For superior audio, both variants come with an 8-speaker sound system.

The BYD Shark 6 DMO is loaded with safety features, including Cruise Control, 360-degree View Camera, Front and Rear Sensors, Vehicle Dynamic Control, Hill Hold Control, Hill Descent System, and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System, ensuring a secure and confident driving experience. The Premium variant takes it further with features like Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Blind Spot Detection.

The BYD Shark 6 DMO starts at Php 2,098,000 for the Advanced variant and Php 2,298,000 for the Premium variant.
First-time BYD customers who purchase the Shark 6 DMO by March 31, 2025 can enjoy a Php 50,000 discount. Current BYD owners who purchase a BYD Shark 6 DMO until the end of March can receive a total of Php 100,000 off the purchase price; the same maximum discount will also be applied to customers who were referred by existing BYD owners.
The Shark 6 DMO is available in three stunning colors: Deep Sea Blue, Cosmos Black, and Aurora White. The vehicle comes with impressive warranty coverage, including 8-year or 160,000 km warranty for the Blade Battery, 8-year or 150,000 km warranty for the drive unit, and 6-year or 150,000 km warranty for the vehicle itself.
