realme C67 Unboxing + First Impressions

realme C67 is a promising device that's catered to consumers who wanted to have bigger value from their money. Now that the realme Note 50 has been officially hailed as the new budget king due to its recent sold out status, it seems like the realme C series is being bumped up to the lower mid-range category.

The recent teasing phase of the realme C67 has gathered enough attention leading up to the eventual Philippine launch early next month. Today, I am filling the excitement as I unbox the realme C67.

Design: Old C-Series DNA with better aesthetics

Just as you suspected, we have made an ASMR unboxing of the handset via our YouTube channel. If you want to check it out, you can watch the video at the end of this article. Just be sure to leave a like and subscribe.

We still have a familiar set of inserts including some documentations, the SIM eject tool, the 33-watt wall adapter, the USB-C cable, and the jelly case.

Anyways, with regards to the design, the C67 is a well-made smartphone. Actually this is the best C series smartphone has ever looked. We have the Sunny Oasis colorway which comes off with a diluted teal hue. Don't get me wrong, I totally love this paintjob - it's fresh and something you'd want to rock on a bright sunny day.

The back panel is not that slippery, thanks to the brushed texture backing. Speaking of backing, I like the new camera module which holds the 108MP Samsung HM6 sensor. The 3x In-sensor zoom changed my perspective on how digital zoom looks in the photos. However, I'll talk more of that in our upcoming review.

We still get the same set of ports and buttons. But it's worth-noting that we still have the 3.5-mm audio jack alongside the USB-C port, speaker grille, and the microphone at the bottom side of the phone.

Display: Full HD+ Realness

realme's choice of default wallpaper for this colorway is quite effective. It's giving a lot of good vibes when we talk about the front panel. Of course, as expected, the bezel does not maintain a uniform thickness. The chin is quite sizable and the top bezel is fairly thicker than the sides. But it's not as chunky as it might sound. The thin bezels capture more of my attention, thus giving the whole setup a slender perspective.

The panel comes with 90Hz refresh rate which is quite common in this segment. A much better Mini Capsule is also included to wow users who are looking for "Dynamic Island"-like feature in Android. Additionally, the phone has dual stereo speakers, thus it's safe to say that this could categorically make the C67 a well-rounded multimedia device.

Others

There's a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset that runs things smoothly. Plus, you can get up to 8GB of memory and 256GB storage with this device. Powering the whole hardware is the 5000 mAh battery with 33-watt fast charging, which ensures most users will enjoy realme C67's features while being away from the wall outlet for a significant amount of time.

At this point, there's nothing more to say about the smartphone. For a more detailed discussion about its features, stay tuned for our review coming later this week.
