vivo T2x now official with Dimensity 1300, 6000mAh battery: Specs and Price

The vivo T2x is the follow up to last year's T1x. The new smartphone boasts of significant upgrade with MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset at the very heart of the vivo T2x. It's built using a 6nm process and includes an octa-core CPU which operates up to 3.0 GHz. It's also supported by a beefy 8GB of RAM for seamless multitasking and 128/256GB UFS 3.1 storage which promises faster write speeds, better power efficiency, and more stable performance under load.

The vivo T2x frames a 6.58-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display, with support for 144Hz screen refresh rate which makes scrolling through the web and social media apps or browsing through the user interface buttery smooth. Likewise, it offers gamers a great experience. It's worth noting, that this is also an upgrade from the predecessor's 120Hz. Apart from this, the phone also features 650 nits of peak brightness which is good enough for outdoor use under daylight condition. 

In terms of optics, the T2x equips a dual rear camera system consisting of a 50MP, f/1.8 main camera and a 2MP, f/2.4 macro shooter. For selfies, there's a 16MP, f/2.0 front camera, housed inside the dewdrop notch. For video shots, the rear camera is capable of recording up to 4K at 30 frames per second whereas the front camera can shoot 1080p at 30fps videos. 

The phone is also 5G-capable with support for 7 5G bands. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, and 3.5mm jack. The device has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and of course face unlock for authentications. 

Another upgrade is the whopping 6000mAh battery which is a joy for many users especially gamers. This is supported by 44W fast charging technology, in which the company claims that the phone can be charged from 0 to 50% in 35 minutes. The device runs on OriginOS 2.0 which is based on Android 12. 

The vivo T2x has just been launched in its home country China. It comes with a price of CNY 1,699 (approx. PHP 13,369) for the 8+128GB storage and CNY 1,899 (approx. PHP 14,940) for the 8+256GB model.
