The vivo Y53s 5G is the latest 5G-capable smartphone from the popular brand. It frames a 6.58-inch FHD+ IPS LCD screen with 2408×1080p resolution and 16.7 million colors. It also comes with 90Hz screen refresh rate for smoother scrolling and better animations.
Under the hood, the vivo Y53s 5G is powered by a midrange chip from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 480 5G. This chipset is developed under 8 nanometer process. It features 8 processors with max speeds of up to 2GHz. This is aided by 8GB RAM for seamless multitasking and Adreno 619 for graphics. In terms of storage, the handset has ample space with 128GB ROM.
The rear camera module has dual sensors consisting of 64MP f/1.79 main + 2MP f/2.4 macro lens. The camera features include night scene, portrait, dynamic photo, slow motion, time-lapse, professional, dual-view video, etc. It supports up to 4x digital zoom and EIS video anti-shake technology. On front is the 8MP f/2.0 selfie sensor housed in a waterdrop notch design.

The vivo Y53s 5G has just been launched in China for a price tag of CNY 1,799 (₱13,452 in today's exchange). It will be available in three color options, Sea Salt, Iridescent, and Starry Night.
