Xiaomi FlipBuds Pro TWS earbuds come with active noise cancellation (ANC) support and an Airpods Pro-like design. According to the Chinese company, the ANC earbuds can block up to 40dB max of surrounding noise. It also comes with three microphones for an advanced noise cancellation.
Additionally, there are three modes to optimize noise-cancelling performance according to user's environment.
- Daily mode. This blocks outdoor noise like noise from automobile and human conversations.
- Office mode. It reduces background noise in the office setting coming from computer operations and air-conditioning motors.
- Air Travel mode. This mode is claimed to minimize large loudness and low-frequency audio of an aircraft. It also maintains the balance of ear pressure.
There's also Transparency mode so users can enjoy music while also being oriented with what's going on around them.
Xiaomi FlipBuds Pro features Qualcomm’s QCC5151 ultra-low power chip together with 11mm ultra dynamic sound drivers. It connects to Bluetooth 5.2 and supports aptX audio codecs. This means the earbuds are able to deliver low-latency gaming and video experience, synchronizing audio and video for gaming and watching movies.
FlipBuds Pro supports both wired and wireless charging. According to Xiaomi, it offers up to 7 hours of playback on a single charge and a total of 28 hours of battery life with the charging case. Moreover, it supports fast charging as well. User can get up to 2 hours of playback in just 5 minutes of charging with the case. The earbuds case also has Qi wireless charging support.
