DITO Telecommunity expands to 21 more cities, enters Luzon areas

DITO Telecommunity, Philippines' third major telco player, after a successful commercial launch last March 8 in 15 selected cities in Visayas and Mindanao, announced the inclusion of 21 more cities starting April 16, 2021.

Included in the DITO expansion are the provinces of Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Cebu, and General Santos; and that sim cards are now available in more than 300-partner stores, and will be available very soon in three DITO-owned stores in Cebu and Davao. 

The specific areas where DITO services are now available are as follows:

  3. Cordova (Cebu)
  4. Malvar (Batangas)
  5. Tanauan (Batangas)
  6. Lipa City (Batangas)
  7. Santo Tomas (Batangas)
  8. Silang (Cavite)
  9. Tagaytay City (Cavite
  10. Los Banos (Laguna)
  11. Calamba (Laguna)
  12. Baliuag (Bulacan)
  13. Palayan (Nueva Ecija)
  14. Santa Rosa (Nueva Ecija)
  15. Science City of Munoz (Nueva Ecija)
  16. Talavera (Nueva Ecija)
  17. Cabanatuan City (Nueva Ecija)
  18. Tarlac City (Tarlac)
  19. Capas (Tarlac)
  20. Concepcion (Tarlac)
  21. Gerona (Tarlac)

Atty. Adel Tamano reiterated what was said on March 8 during the launch that the successful launch of DITO is an example of how cooperation, with the active collaboration of government and private corporations, is key to bring about true recovery led by advancements in the realm of communications and connectivity, and that the triumph of DITO is a triumph of the Filipino people.
