ASUS announces new laptops from its Expert and ProArt StudioBook Series. The ASUS Expert Series is the company’s modern take on the business lineup of products which ranges from desktop, laptops, Chromebooks and All-in-One PCs. The ProArt StudioBook series includes the worldʹs most graphically-powerful laptop with NVIDIA Quadro RTX 6000 graphics, ASUS ProArt StudioBook X; while the Expert Series includes the ExpertBook B9.
ASUS ExpertBook B9 (B9450)
The ASUS ExpertBook B9 (B9450) is very thin and lightweight at 870 grams. It also comes with a thin 14.9-mm profile. This means that it's very portable and easy to carry around. This 14-inch laptop has a 94% screen-to-body ratio which makes it fit into a 13-inch laptop footprint. Even with its small form factor, ASUS claims that the ASUS ExpertBook B9 has an impressive running time of up to 24 hours.
This computing machine is powered by 10th generation Intel Core processor. It also features a dual storage design two ultrafast 2TB PCIe 3.0 x4 SSDs, WiFi 6, and up to 16GB of RAM. There are also two Thunderbolt 3 ports, HDMI ports and an exclusive ASUS NumberPad 2.0 built into the touchpad.
Other thoughtful design touches include the ErgoLift hinge for more comfortable typing sessions, four omnidirectional far-field microphones that feature noise cancellation for video conferencing, IR camera covers, and a light bar on the front of the laptop that activates when using built-in support for Microsoft Cortana and Amazon Alexa. The laptop also packs a Harman Kardon-optimized sound system with down-firing speakers.
