Cherry Mobile Flare S6 Plus looms, to sport TrueView display with 18:9 aspect ratio, 4GB RAM

Is this the Cherry Mobile Flare S6 Plus? Looks like a legit press shot of the upcoming Cherry Mobile Flare S6 Plus has been making rounds in the web. This also opens the idea that the new handset from the market leader will be having four cameras - two rear shooters and a dual selfie camera module.

The Cherry Mobile Flare S6 Plus

Based on the rendered image, the Cherry Mobile Flare S6 Plus is pegged to have an 18:9 aspect ratio on its TrueView Display. This means that it's taller compared to other Flare handsets with 16:9 aspect ratio. This also marks Cherry Mobile's entry to the 18:9 aspect ratio race.


Flipping the handset unveils the subtle antenna bands in the back panel alongside the vertically positioned rear cameras. There are also two LED flashes accompanying these rear cameras. It's also a breath of fresh air to see a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor which is technically my favorite fingerprint reader placement.

When it comes to the internals, the Cherry Mobile S6 Plus could tick with a MediaTek MT6750T chipset with 4GB of RAM. A 64GB native storage could keep your multimedia files in handy; and in case you need more room, there would be an option to expand up to 128GB. Check out the rumored specs below.
