the SURF20 which we, Cebuanos, have been enjoying since Sinulog season? It’s
still on! For the uninitiated, the Surf20 prepaid promo comes with 400MB of
data with Free Facebook and Viber for only Php 20.
This
has been running exclusively in Cebu City's Sinulog since the Festival week and it seems
like Globe is still testing the waters of this promo before offering
it nationwide.
Globe Prepaid Surf20 vs GoSurf50
Compared
to the GoSurf50 promo which runs for 3 days with only 350MB of data, the Surf20
comes with a bigger data allocation value. You can now stream and listen to
Spotify longer with 400MB-worth of data.
However,
the new promo does not have a separate allocation for Spotify and games. GoSurf50,
on the other hand, is bundled with 400MB for Games and Spotify on top of the
350MB.
But
if you want flexibility in your data usage, the Surf20 is your puppy.
How
to register to Surf20?
You
can activate your Surf20 promo by texting SURF20 to 8888. Once activated, you
are also entitled to use Facebook and Viber for free on top of the data
allocation.
The
promo is only valid for Cebu users, as of this writing.
