Pinoy Metro Geek joins BCBA 2015 as Best Cebu Technology Blog finalist

Best Cebu Blogs Awards 2015 lists PinoyMetroGeek.com as a finalist in the 8th instalment of Cebu's premier awarding body. For the uninitiated, the BCBA annually recognizes the cream of the crop in Cebu's blogging stage in various niches - Technology, Personal, Travel Food, Fashion, Photo Blog, Cebu Events/Entertainment.

Founded in 2008, BCBA deems it vital to recognize Cebu-based and Cebuano bloggers who excel in their craft and pose great competition to other top-notch bloggers in the country and all over the world.

This year, the event is co-presented by the country's leader in mobile and digital services, Smart Communications.

We have been blogging inside a cave for quite some time since 2011. This year, we have taken pinoymetrogeek.com to the mainstream level. And it is overwhelming to receive this kind of citation from our fellow bloggers in a span of one year.

This phrase may already be a cliche, but being a finalist is already and truly an honor; it puts more fuel in our midnight lamp.

More than anything else, I am very eager to meet other Cebu bloggers that excel in their respective niches. It will be a great time to celebrate blogging, as a craft, with people who share the same passion.

BCBA 2015 Awarding Night

Come December 6, the 8th Best Cebu Blogs Awards Night will be held on Avalon Building in Cebu Business Park. Winners will take the stage and give their acceptance speeches.
