The
Asus Pegasus 2 Plus is now officially released in China with midrange specs
that could compete with the current value-for-money kings. After the commercial
success of the Asus Zenfone 2, the Taiwanese outfit manages to refresh its
Pegasus line to broaden its audience.
The Asus Pegasus 2 Plus hardware
The
Asus Pegasus 2 Plus will be primarily driven by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 615
which packs an octa-core 64-bit desktop-class architecture CPU. The package
comes with four cores of ARM Cortex A53 with 1.7GHz speed and four cores of
Cortex A53 with 1GHz speed; while the Adreno 405 GPU is the one responsible
with graphics. The handset also packs 3GB of RAM for faster app launching and
fluid multitasking function.
As
far as the camera goes, the Asus Pegasus 2 Plus comes with a 13MP rear camera
and an 8MP front-facing unit. The Asus Pegasus 2 Plus also boasts a 5.5-inch
Full HD display and 3030 mAh battery. It also features Android 5.1.1 out of the
box; and just like the other Asus handsets, it comes with Zen UI overlay.
No
pricing has been announced yet but the Asus Pegasus 2 Plus will come in both
Rose Gold and White options.
