FINAL FANTASY X, which was released in 2001 on PS2, was the first game in the franchise to feature voice acting. The game earned critical acclaim for both its emotive storytelling and stunningly delicate graphics, and is still adored by its fans. In 2003, with the release of FINAL FANTASY X-2, it also became the first Final Fantasy game to spawn a direct sequel. Combined, both titles shipped an impressive 14 million copies worldwide. And now, after Final FANTASY X and Final FANTASY X-2 were remastered for release on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in 2003, the two classical masterpieces are about to make their debut on PlayStation 4 in 2015.

During the HD remaster process, the character models were significantly improved, and all the textures (2D graphics) used for monsters, maps and menus were redesigned as well in order to bring it up to the standard of high definition graphics. In the PlayStation 4 version, the textures for monsters and some NPCs are more detailed than ever, in addition, special features were added to the overall look of the game, creating breathtakingly beautiful visual effects.

In order to deliver this beautiful masterpiece to Asian customers in their languages, “FINAL FANTASY X/X-2 HD Remaster” is translated by Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia Localization Center with the remarkable support of SQUARE ENIX CO., LTD.

On the request of many fans who wish to play FINAL FANTASY X with the original soundtrack, the PlayStation 4 version comes with the ability to switch between original and arranged soundtrack. Users can select this option at the start or during the game, and hopefully, the original classic tracks will help bring back fond memories.
